CHAMONIX NG CARS
Chamonix NG Cars is based in São Paulo, Brazil. Until about 2011 it was known as Chamonix Indústria e Comércio and located in Jarinu. The “NG” in the company name stands for New Generation.
The company was founded in 1987 by Milton Masteguin, formerly with Puma Cars as constructor of racing vehicles, and the US-American automotive engineer Chuck Beck.
Their original 356 Speedster replica was based on the Beetle chassis and mechanics but since 1995 Chamonix have evolved to a more advanced design with their own tubular chassis and using water-cooled VW Golf engines instead of the original air-cooled flat-4. Their high quality fibre glass replica body is available with a wide range of trim options.
The company exports exports most of the production to markets like U.S.A (under the Beck name), Japan, Europe, Middle East, and Latin America. Body kits are also available.
